The Oslo Center’s 10th Anniversary
On May 20th the Oslo Center will host a seminar highlighting challenges related to democracy building in an increasingly turbulent world. Nobel Peace Prize laureate and former Secretary-General of the United Nations Kofi Annan will hold a key note speech, followed by Vice-President of the National Democratic Institute (NDI) Shari K. Bryan.
A discussion will follow with a panel consisting of:
- Mohamed Osman Jawari, Speaker of Parliament in Somalia
- Anniken Huitfeldt, Chair of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence
- Øyvind Østerud, Professor at the Department of Political Science

The Oslo Centers 10th Anniversary will be celebrated with several anniversary activities throughout the year.
The seminar will open for registration on May 5.
